Helpful Tips And Ingredients Add Ins

Keep the salad in the centre – if you line the wrap with the ham and cheese slices, then put the salad in the middle, it helps to stop the wraps from going soggy.

Make it gluten-free – swap the wraps for gluten-free wraps and make sure all ingredients used are certified gluten free on the label.

Extras to add in – add in any extras you like to eat – try shredded beetroot, Chinese leaves, spinach, tomatoes (but remove the seeds to avoid a soggy sandwich) chopped eggs, Swiss cheese, shredded cheese, pickles, onions, deli meats or lunch meat like turkey, roast beef or pastrami. Anything you like to eat in a sandwich.

Wrapping for lunchboxes – if you’re wrapping these to be eaten later, it’s best to do so in aluminium foil. then they hold the fillings in better.

Make ahead or storing leftovers – you can make these deli ham and cheese rolls ahead of time or store leftovers. Just wrap in plastic wrap or foil and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
