A super easy red pepper hummus recipe – this flavoured hummus recipe is delicious as part of a mezze spread.

I love this red pepper hummus recipe, it’s great on sandwiches and wraps or as a dip for crispy potato wedges, tortilla crisps or vegetable sticks.

It’s also a great way of getting reluctant veggie eaters to eat some!

Makes a great lunchbox recipe and is perfect as an after school snack or as a party dip.

Red pepper hummus ingredients

  • 400g tin of chickpeas
  • 2-3 chargrilled red peppers (from a jar)
  • 1 small clove of garlic – finely chopped
  • 1 heaped tbs of tahini
  • juice of half a lemon
  • drizzle of olive oil
  • pinch of salt

How to make red pepper hummus

  • Put all the ingredients into a food processor and blitz until you have a nice smooth paste.
