Reviewing the Karcher K2 premium home and car pressure washer with a focus on the car washing aspect. Read on for a chance to win your own Karcher cleaning package.
All the parts of the Karcher K2 come boxed with full instructions and user guide and include patio detergent and car foam wash. On unboxing it’s very straight forward and quick to put together and get into action.
the looks ‘bit’
Karcher K2 comes in uniform colours of yellow and black, once it’s all fitted together it’s a fairly compact unit, upright, lightweight and easy to pull around and manoeuvre. It has a hose and cable hook for easy neat storage.
the usability ‘bit’
The Karcher K2 is extremely straight forward to use. It’s simply a matter of selecting the nozzle or brushes you wish to use and clicking them into place. The water hosepipe is simple to attach and the pressure wash hose is equally simple to attach. The hand held trigger gun is lightweight and comfortable to use.
The electric cable is 5M long which was more than ample for using on the driveway for washing the car. The hose is 6M from the Karcher unit to the hand held trigger gun which is adequate for car washing.
I particularly liked the foam dispenser attachment which allows you to spray a thick coating of foam onto the car.
Then a quick change of from the spray nozzle to the car wash brush means you can really give the car a good scrub. The brush allows you to clean all the fiddly bits of the car – around the bumper, registration plate and wheel trims. The brush is long enough to easily reach the centre of the car without any difficulty.
Once washed it’s simple to switch back to the spray nozzle to rinse away any soap suds and dirt.
The Karcher K2 made washing the car quick, simple and cleaned really well. I was very happy with the results. You really need to make sure you keep the car wash brush free from debris and dirt though otherwise I think you could scratch the paintwork.
The Karcher K2 premium home and car pressure washer is also ideal for cleaning small patios, decking, garden furniture, bikes and motorbikes.
