Rosemary Fries
Our Rosemary Fries take chips to the next level! Air fry until crisp and golden and serve with our tasty, quick garlic mayonnaise dip!
We use the air fryer to make these tasty fries really fast!
Throw your frozen chips in the air fryer, air fry until crisp, golden and delicious. Then toss with fresh rosemary and sea salt.
We serve these with a homemade quick and easy garlic mayonnaise dip for the ultimate chip snack!

Equipment Needed
- Air Fryer (or use the oven) - we've swapped to a Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone Air Fryer - the 9.5 litre two drawer cooking space is BRILLIANT when you're cooking for a family as you can fit lots in! And it makes cooking meat, chicken or fish and potatoes at the same time super easy!
- Chopping board
- Sharp knife
- Mixing bowl
- Serving bowl
- Small bowl
- Teaspoon
Rosemary Fries Ingredients
You'll literally just need three ingredients to make our tasty rosemary chips!

For the rosemary salted chips
- Frozen French Fries - we use McCain Frozen French Fries for this recipe.
- Fresh rosemary - finely chopped
- Pinch sea salt
For the garlic mayo dip
- mayonnaise
- garlic powder
- pinch salt
- pinch cracked black pepper
How To Make Rosemary Fries
You are just going to LOVE how quick and easy it is to make these fancy fries!
Step One - air fry the frozen chips
- Cook the frozen chips in the air fryer - I cook them on 200C and the McCains French Fries take around 13 minutes to cook in my TEFAL EasyFry Precision 2in1 Digital Air Fryer & Grill.
Cooks Note - thicker chips may take longer, skinny fries will take less time - just keep an eye on them as they cook and remove when they are done. If using the oven to cook the chips just following the instructions for cooking on the packet.
Step Two - make the quick garlic mayo dip
- Add all the ingredients for the garlic mayo dip into a small bowl and mix with a spoon.
Step Three - season the rosemary fries

- Once the fries are cooked tip them into a bowl and scatter over the sea salt and finely chopped rosemary. Toss everything together. Then serve with the garlic mayo dip.

How To Make Rosemary Salt
You can make homemade rosemary salt to sprinkle over these fries - it's super easy!
To make rosemary salt you'll need a pestle and mortar. Pick the rosemary leaves and add them to the pestle and mortar with some sea salt flakes.
Then grind the salt and rosemary together until you have a green coloured salt.
It's best to make this in small batches, store in the fridge and use within 2-3 days. It's delicious on lamb dishes, roast potatoes and more!
