Tasty Tips From Our Kitchen To Make Your Salmon Perfect Every Time !

Our foil packed baked salmon is a complete meal just as it is. But there's lots of ways you can add your own twist! try...

Add more herbs and seasonings

  • If you like your salmon herby, you can add fresh herbs into the packs before they cook, or you can scatter chopped fresh herbs over at the end when you open them to eat. Fresh herbs that work really well with salmon are fresh parsley, dill or any of the Italian herbs, oregano, basil, thyme, and if you're adding Italian herbs, sprinkle over some lemon zest or serve with lemon wedges, and a splash of extra virgin olive oil too.
  • You can add spices and take this simple baked salmon and potato recipe in your own direction. Try sprinkling over any of the following - paprika, Cajun spices, chilli infused honey, cumin and turmeric.

Add different vegetables

  • Add onions and garlic - try adding in thinly sliced red onions, whole garlic cloves or some finely chopped shallots. Or cooking the salmon in garlic butter instead of olive oil.
  • You could also add in other quick cooking vegetables - try salmon and asparagus, or thinly sliced courgettes or swapping the potatoes for sweet potatoes.

Leftovers

  • If you have any leftovers you can keep them in an airtight container in the fridge. You can eat them cold next day with salad and mix up a quick herby mayonnaise to go with them.
