Simple snowflake ornaments for kids

A really sweet little snowflake craft for kids - kids can make and decorate these easy snowflake ornaments and use them to decorate the Christmas tree.

It just wouldn't be Christmas without sweet little tree ornaments made by the kids and this year we've been making lolly stick snowflakes.

What you need to make snowflake ornaments 

To make our popsicle stick snowflake craft you will just need a handful of craft supplies

• glue
• lolly sticks
• paint - white and blue 
• glitter
• paintbrushes
• string
• sellotape 

How to make snowflake ornament craft

• Glue the lollipop sticks together to make the six points of the snowflake.

• Once the glue dries a little - paint the snowflakes 

• Sprinkle on the glitter

• Once dry - cut loops of string and sellotape a loop to the back of each snowflake

• Hang your lovely finished and decorated snowflake ornaments on the Christmas tree.

Make snowflakes your own way

• paint them all different colours
• stick on sequins and pompoms
• use ribbon or tinsel for the hanging loops
