Spring flowers make your home look pretty, fresh and are a great way to brighten the place up, simply and cheaply.
Most supermarkets have bunches of daffodils and tulips for just a couple of pounds meaning it’s a totally affordable treat.
Now you can arrange them beautifully in vases but I just adore the casual charm of handfuls of blooms crammed into old jam jars and I also like to add a few sprigs of fresh herbs too – mint and rosemary always work well and smell just lovely.
Little jam jar bouquets look good anywhere in the home from brightening up the desk to a little corner of the kitchen windowsill. And with Mother’s Day coming up, jam jar flowers make a great little addition to a tray of breakfast food served in bed!
