  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 tsp taco seasoning – the key to great tasting taco mince is to use a good taco seasoning! We use Gran Luchito seasoning, it packs in a huge amount of flavour with zero effort!

Taco Mince Recipe Tips

How long does taco mince last in the fridge?

Cool the mince within 2 hours of cooking and store in an air-tight container in the fridge. You can keep this for up to 2 days (just be sure to eat before the use-by date on the meat)

Can I freeze taco mince?

Yes, cool quickly and store the spicy beef in an air tight container or freezer bag in the freezer for up to 3 months. To use, defrost in the fridge overnight, then reheat.

How to reheat taco mince

To reheat either do so in a saucepan over a medium heat on the hob – warm it slowly, stirring frequently for around 10 minutes – check the food is piping hot throughout – use a food thermometer to check the temperature of reheated food is at least 75C and cooked at that temperature for several minutes.

Alternatively reheat the taco mince in the microwave on high for around 5-6 minutes, stirring every few minutes so that it heats evenly. Continue to heat until the beef mince is reheated properly throughout.
