We simply fry off the bell peppers and onions in some extra virgin olive oil, add the ground beef mince and brown that too. Then tip in the canned tomatoes and taco seasoning. Bring the taco spaghetti sauce to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer with the lid off for 15 minutes, whilst you cook the spaghetti.
Stir the drained spaghetti into the taco meat sauce, then serve scattered with shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (or your favourite Mexican cheese blend), some diced avocado if you like and a handful of chopped cilantro. Then dig in, it's DELICIOUS!
WHAT TO SERVE WITH TACO SPAGHETTI

You can go with any of your favourite regular pasta sides like coleslaw, garlic bread or a big garden salad. I like to sizzle up some corn cobs in the air fryer, and serve them smothered in melted herb butter.
RECIPE TIPS AND INGREDIENT SWAPS
Switch Up The Ground Beef - you can swap the beef for ground turkey, ground chicken or even your favourite plant based ground meat.
Add Some Extra Vegetables - you can add in some extra veggies here, just sauté them with the onions and bell peppers at the beginning - try mushrooms, or tip in a can of sweetcorn or black beans.
Fancy Some Spicy Heat? - if you like your taco spaghetti with a kick of heat, throw over some jalapeño or freshly chopped green chiles. Or just add a sprinkling of red pepper flakes to the taco seasoning.
Switch The Spaghetti Noodles - don't fancy noodles, use penne or fusilli instead.
TOP TIPS FOR MAKING THE TACO SPAGHETTI
⭐️ Be sure to add plenty of taco seasoning, you want the ground beef to be super flavourful.
⭐️ I recommend using a 12-15% fat ground beef mince. It makes the mince more succulent and less likely to dry out, so the dish is tastier.
⭐️ Add any taco toppings you like to your bowl - dollop of sour cream, cilantro garnish, avocado, spoonful of guacamole, some jalapeños, charred corn, whatever you like, throw it in!
⭐️ Make a double batch of the taco meat and freeze half for use another day as an easy meal idea.
LOVE YOUR LEFTOVERS
⭐ Leftover taco spaghetti is delicious next day reheated for lunch or dinner. Just be sure to cool the spaghetti down quickly, before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator overnight. When reheating do so thoroughly so that it reaches the food-hygiene recommended temperature throughout.
