It’s easy to spend a day at Formby, exploring glorious beaches and fantastic coastal pinewoods. Home of the red squirrel and countless other wildlife you can spend a day walking through the woods and along the coastal walks. Head down to the beach for sandcastle building or a paddle in the sea and don’t forget to look out for the prehistoric footprints of our ancestors – you can see these when the tide is out.
