Our Tuna Mayonnaise recipe is incredibly simple to make and tastes fantastic on sandwiches, mixed into freshly cooked pasta or served as a salad.

I always make sure I have a few cans of tuna in the cupboard as Tuna Mayonnaise is a great standby lunch idea.

It’s super quick to make and with our added ingredients I’m sure you’re going to find this tuna salad the BEST one you’ve made! It’s super tasty and perfect piled onto sourdough bread.

Tuna is packed with protein and is a good source of vitamins and minerals like vitamin B3 and D and also selenium, calcium and magnesium. So it’s a good choice for a simple lunch at home or for making tuna mayo sandwiches for packed lunch.

Tuna Mayonnaise Ingredients

You’ll just need a handful of tasty ingredients to make our super easy tuna salad recipe

  • 220g canned tuna (drained weight)
  • 2 celery sticks– cut lengthways and then finely chopped
  • 4 spring onions – finely chopped
  • 1 tbs capers
  • small bunch flat leaf parsley finely chopped
  • 2 tbs mayonnaise (heaped)
  • pinch salt
  • pinch black pepper
  • juice half a small lemon

How To Make Tuna Mayonnaise

You’re going to love how quick and simple our tuna salad recipe is – just so easy!

Step One – prepare the tuna salad ingredients

  • Finely chop the onions, celery and flat leaf parsley
  • Juice half the lemon
  • Open the cans of tuna and flake the fish with a fork to break up the tuna chunks

Step Two – mix the tuna mayo recipe

  • Add all the ingredients to a mixing bowl

Step Three – serve the tuna mayonnaise

  • Serve your tuna mayo recipe however you fancy – I like to pile it on sourdough bread and eat with a little tomato salad.

  • Tuna Salad – grab a bowl and fill it with your favourite salad ingredients – lettuce, rocket, cucumber, tomatoes and peppers – then pile the tuna mayonnaise on top to make a delicious, healthy lunch.
