Simmering up a warming turmeric milk drink and sipping it just before bed always helps me to sleep better. I really like the gently spiced flavour and actually prefer the more savoury twist the drink gives me over traditional hot chocolate.
Turmeric is a lovely bright yellow spice, usually added to curries, it comes with a long list of health benefits and properties. There’s lots of different ways to make turmeric milk, you can use fresh root, ground turmeric all different types of milk and add other spices into the mix too.
