A weekly family meal plan filled with easy to make family dinner recipes that are healthy, tasty and filling.
Monday – Roast Chicken & Patatas Bravas
I’ll be doing a garlic and herb roast chicken and serving with patatas bravas and salad. I can cook it all in the morning and just serve cold later. Get the patatas bravas recipe here.
Tuesday – Sausage Meatballs and Pasta
I’ll be making quick meatballs using skinned sausages and serving with a spicy homemade tomato sauce and pasta. Quick, easy and delicious.
Wednesday – Easy Spanish Rice
We just love this – it’s so easy and cheat-y, packed with veggies and tastes so good! Get the Spanish Rice recipe here.
Thursday – Tuna Pasta
This is the kids favourite dinner EVER! Homemade tuna pasta with loads of black olives, fresh vine tomatoes and chilli – leftovers are great cold next day too.
Friday – Chicken Tikka Pockets & Fries
These are kinda like quick kebabs – I’ll do the fries with spices and herby yogurt dip. Grab the tikka pocket recipe here and if you’re fancying spicy fries get the recipe here.
Saturday – Pesto Pasta
I love this for weekend dinner – it’s a quick recipe so it’s good for days you’ve been out but still want something proper for dinner. Get the easy pesto pasta recipe here.
Sunday – Roast Chicken Dinner
I’m thinking wait and see how the weather is and do this either with roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding or if it’s sunny and warmer go for rice salad and garden salad.
